What do you think has kept your organisation so successful in what it does all these years?
This year marks SIA's 70th anniversary and since our early days, we have always strived to make our customers' travel experience a "Great Way to Fly". Excellence in customer service has been integral to SIA's success and all our employees share the philosophy of placing the customer at the heart of everything we do.
What latest innovations in products and services has your organisation introduced this year?
We have taken delivery of more Airbus A350 aircraft fitted with our latest cabin products. We also expanded our route network with the launch of flights to four new destinations: Canberra, Dusseldorf, Stockholm and Wellington. A new nonstop service between Singapore and San Francisco has also been launched. We made enhancments across various aspects of our customers' travel experience such as through new meal programmes and the Companion App, which allows customers to review the inflight entertainment content available on their flight before they even board the aircraft and create a pre-selected favourites list.
An organisation is only as good as its people. So, how is your organisation investing in the next generation of leaders?
It is the people of SIA who truly help to set it apart and we continue to invest heavily in training to develop our staff and enhance their competencies.
