TTG Travel Hall of Fame 2010 Hertz Asia-Pacific

Hertz Asia-Pacific

Which is harder, to get to the top or to stay on top? Why?
Getting to the top is never easy, but staying on top is even more difficult.

In the climb to the top, you keep raising the bar, but when you achieved the No.1 position, you cannot sop there. You now have to continually excel in everything you do to justify your leadership positioning. Your competitors are waiting for you to slip up.

Name one innovation we can expect from you in 2011.
We will be introducing a new product, but at this stage it is too premature to announce. Sorry!

As agents had voted for you, what would you do to win more business from them?
We always appreciate the vote of confidence from our travel trade partners. We will continue to provide training and support to help travel agency staff earn more commission from selling more Hertz products and services.

If you have one burning message for travel agents, what would that be?
Be able, willing and ready to capitalize on opportunities presented by changes in the operating environment. Position yourself or others will position you!

How did you go about celebrating the win?
No wild parties or lavish dinners. Only “high-fives” and words of appreciation to recognize the contributions of our staff. Winning awards serves to remind us our obligation to consistently deliver what we promise. As the saying goes, “you are as good as your last performance”.
