When Banyan Tree Spa opened in Asia’s first luxury spa resort – Banyan Tree Phuket, Thailand in 1994, it pioneered the tropical garden spa concept with its Asian therapies and holistic focus on spiritual, mental and physical harmony.
A Sanctuary for the Senses, spa enthusiasts are pampered with a high level of consistent service. All spa therapists are formally trained with the intuitive art of touch based on the stringent curriculum of the Banyan Tree Spa Academies, accredited by Thailand’s Ministry of Education and Public Health.
Through the years, Banyan Tree Spa has won more than 620 awards, strengthening its brand presence in the international spa industry and increasing awareness amongst global travellers. Today, Banyan Tree Spa has a growing global footprint with its presence in 22 countries.
The Next Chapter
In the next 5 years, we will continue to place strong emphasis on service standards, training and development, and empowering people. We have grown our Group’s brand portfolio this year with the launch of two new brands – Cassia and Dhawa, adding to our global footprints.
Cassia is a bold new proposition in the serviced apartment sector, offering stylish hotel residences for holidays and business travel. Dhawa caters to the next generation of travellers who seek to up their quotient while enjoying a contemporary holiday – as and when, and how they like it.
