What is the one most important decision you have made to your business this year, in view of the competitive environment today?
Hertz acquired Dollar Thrifty Group in November 2012 and can now offer a portfolio of brands to suit the needs of our corporate and leisure customers. This allows a greater choice of products and services at different price points. We also have a fourth brand, Firefly, for price conscious customers.With all four brands combined, we operate from 10,400 locations in 150 countries. Also worthy of note is our partnership with China Auto Rental in a strategic joint venture in April this year. China Auto Rental is the number one car rental company in China, with a fleet of over 55,000 cars operating in 66 cities through some 700 service points. All these developments come together to help strengthen our competitive standing in the global market.
What is your goal for 2014?
We will continue to innovate our product and service offering through investments in new technology and best-in-class processes.
