What has your company done in the past year to remain a top performer in your sector, and top of mind among your customers?
Our rapid expansion continued in the past year, providing our customers even more travel options which has also led to us being top of mind. In the first half of 2016 alone, we launched new routes to Los Angeles, Boston and Atlanta in the US, and Birmingham in UK. We also doubled our Australian network with the launch of Sydney and Adelaide.
What motivates you and your team to excel in all that you do?
What motivates me and my team is the unwavering pursuit of excellence in what we do, and being dedicated to achieving the highest standards possible to remain at the peak.
What advice would you give to the next generation of tourism professionals who desire success in this trade?
Success does not come without hard work and commitment. The commitment to delivering great service is paramount. Qatar Airways takes great pride in itself as an airline that provides top-notch services to its passengers, be it on the ground or in the air. We seek to continuously improve ourselves by meeting the needs of our passengers. The same conscientious spirit will hold any industry practitioner in good stead in this trade.
